Nolan Ryan Directors

Paul Nolan   Dip. Const. Econ, FRICS, FSCS, MIPFMA
Graduated with a diploma in Construction Economics from Bolton Street College of Technology in 1971 and qualified as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor in 1974, becoming a Fellow in 1981. Over thirty years experience in senior positions with Construction and Professional Practices in Ireland and the U.S. Managing the Waterford office since 1986.

Studied Quantity Surveying in Limerick Regional Technical College. Qualified as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor in 1989. Over twenty years experience in senior positions in the Construction Industry in Ireland and the UK. Managing the Kilkenny office since 1988.

William Kee   FRICS, FSCS, MIPFMA
Graduated with a diploma in Construction Economics from Bolton Street College of Technology and was conferred with a BSc degree in Surveying from Trinity College, Dublin in 1981. Qualified as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor in 1984. Over twenty years experience in senior positions in the Construction Industry. Director in the Waterford office since 1991.

Practising as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor since 1970. Over thirty years experience in senior positions in the Construction Industry. Managing the Cork office since 1999.

Brian Hourigan   FRICS, FSCS, MIPFMA, MSc PM

Brian gained his one year's experience from college with Nolan Ryan in 1991 and returned to the practice in 1993 on his graduation from Limerick Institute of Technology. Brian has worked on a wide variety of projects with particular emphasis on the commercial, educational and industrial sectors. Brian was appointed an Associate of the practice in 1999 and was promoted to manager of the Limerick office of the practice in 2001.

Robert Nolan   MRICS, ASCS, MIPFMA

Assistant quantity surveyor between 1990 - 1993 with Dublin based consultant quantity surveyors working on projects up to a value of €8 million. Joined the Kilkenny office of Nolan Ryan in 1993 and worked on a variety of projects.

Appointed Associate in Nolan Ryan in April 2000.

Appointed regional Director in 2003 and Director in 2005.

Michael Carberry   BE MIEI
Michael graduated witha bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree from University College Dublin. He worked as a process engineer in the north american industry for six years and as chief engineer and director of operations in the food industry for 13 years. He joined Nolan Ryan in 1998 as project manager and was appointed director in 2005.

Over twenty diverse years in the construction and project management business working for consultants, contractors, government agencies and private developers on major building and civil engineering projects worldwide.(Argentina, Denmark, Dubai, Egypt, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ireland, Korea, Malaysia, Portugal, United Kingdom, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam).

Gerard McEvoy   BE, MIEI
With over 25 years experience in the Construction Industry, in Ireland and the UK, he has worked on a wide variety of projects including Housing, Sanitary Services, Commercial / Retail, Pharmaceutical, Civil Engineering, Hotels, Leisure & Tourism, and Quality Assurance.

Graham Barr   FRICS, FSCS, MIPFMA

Graham has over twenty years experience as a quantity surveyor. Most of this time has been spent in Dublin and the surrounding counties however he has spent some time working in Australia, Indonesia, Kenya, Uganda and the U.K.

Glen Mac Carthy graduated with a diploma in construction studies from Cork regional tecnical college and was conferred with a Bsc Hon degree in surveing from the western univeristy of England in 1998. Qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2001. Over 9 years experience in the industry.
